<p>I have a one month old HP Officejet 8500 Pro printer that suddenly has a clear paper jam error message. A real paper jam simply does not happen. I’ve talked to HP tech support and done lengthy factory resets, including kicking my guts out, to no avail. It doesn’t have to be a very serious mistake. I’ve seen this on other forums, but the experts seem to be saying that everyone only trades in these specific printers. Not an option, as HP, in its infinite wisdom, won’t even replace a broken device abroad.</p>
<p>I assumed it was the hemp paper guide hanging over the standard tray. That’s too little… but maybe I was wrong anyway. If I tilt the printer back, itIt can feed and eject the page, but unfortunately it won’t print.</p>
<p>If someone from HP is so likely to shed light on just me, I’ll gladly do what’s usually required for a visit, and whatever…</p>
